It all started in 2021 when mover Sondre Berg started getting questions about a t-shirt he wore in one of his instagram posts. The t-shirt featured Sondre's personal brand logo - Berg Movement that he had recently launched, offering educational content and training programs.

MERCH! A word that screams of fast fashion, overconsumption and low quality. One thing was for sure; Sondre would not take a part in this so he started researching sustainable materials, solutions and production. One thing led to the other and with a spark of inspiration and a realisation that bodyweight fitness products haven´t seen innovation in the last century, ideas started to emerge - he wanted to do something more, something bigger and better.

Sondre´s background as an engineer came in handy as he spent hours sketching prototypes, researching and sourcing the right products and designing solutions. Drilling, sawing, reaching out to manufacturers, trying and failing, and trying again. Fast forward to today and we are proud to offer innovative and minimalistic training solutions and active wear unlike anything else in the world.

Careful research of raw material suppliers and production partners is standard procedure within the company. We only use production partners certifications proving sustainable production and conditions. In addition is suppliers and manufacturers selected based on geographical proximity to each other so that the journey is not longer than necessary.

Sustainability is at the core of Movement Made as one of the purposes is that the products themselves should only consist of environmentally friendly materials and do not contribute to unnecessary emissions - if it then applies to production or shipping.
